Salary: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Store Address: 10646 Blackhawk Blvd, Houston, TX 77089
Essential Duties
Work independently to manage daily property operations.
Provide exceptional service to customers including answering inquiries, assisting with storage needs, and processing rental agreements.
Maximize sales objectives through unit rentals, unit insurance, and moving supplies.
Process payments, issue receipts, and manage delinquent accounts including collection efforts.
Conduct cash drawer audits and execute bank deposits as per company policies.
Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with a focus on safety and maximizing units available for rent.
Job Qualifications
Valid driver’s license.
Cash handling experience is preferred.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Basic computer knowledge.
Ability to multitask.
Experience in sales.
Physical Requirements
Conduct property walks often during shifts.
Approximately 50% of time in outdoor environments, including walking, climbing stairs and opening large doors.
Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the property, including regular inspections and maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and changing light bulbs.
Ability to transport or lift/move items weighing up to 35 pounds.
May be required to run errands and travel to other store locations.
Average Day: As a Property Manager, your day will be dynamic. You will prepare for opening, ensure everything is clean and in working order, confirm cash drawer count, and conduct a property walk-through. You will assist customers in finding the right storage solutions, handle rental agreements, process payments, and address customer concerns. You will perform regular inspections of the property, check maintenance needs, and ensure safety and security measures are in place. You may also engage in virtual meetings, collaborative projects, and continued training. Your day ends with closing procedures and ensuring the property is secure. This role supports a work/life balance with five days a week (no Sundays) and a finish by 6pm.
