LoveSetMatch
LoveSetMatch is a nonprofit organization rooted in the belief that
tennis is more than a sport — it’s a pathway to opportunity, confidence, and community . Based in East Los Angeles and serving youth across L.A. County, we provide
free and low-cost tennis programs
to children and families in underserved neighborhoods where access to quality sports programming is limited.
We serve kids as young as 6 years old through teens and even multi-generational families, offering not just STEM based tennis instruction but also mentorship, life skills, and wellness education. Our programs emphasize
inclusion, joy, and equity
— ensuring that every child, regardless of background or income, has a safe place to play, grow, and belong.
At our core, we value
community, creativity, and consistency . Whether we’re setting up short courts at a park with no tennis facilities or hosting STEM-based tennis workshops, everything we do is about youth development using tennis and fitness as a tool to inspire dreams and build futures — one serve at a time.
LoveSetMatch is a Los Angeles–based nonprofit that brings
free and low-cost tennis, fitness, and STEAM education

Southern California Tennis Newsletter
connecting players, programs, and events across the region.
Role Overview
We’re looking for an energetic, creative, and self-motivated
Newsletter Manager / Tennis Community Curator
to help us
create, grow, and manage
a community-driven tennis newsletter featuring upcoming events, social mixers, fundraisers, and partner promotions.
You’ll oversee content creation, outreach to tennis clubs and organizations, and help attract sponsors and donors — earning
commission on every sponsorship or ad sale you bring in.
Key Responsibilities
Research and curate local tennis events (community, recreational, fundraisers, and socials) across Southern California
Manage newsletter content through Canva, Zeffy, or Mailchimp platforms
Coordinate with tennis clubs, community organizations, and park programs to feature their events
Develop and maintain relationships with local sponsors (clubs, brands, coaches, tournaments)
Write and format engaging newsletter content that feels fun, community-focused, and on-brand with LoveSetMatch
Track open rates, engagement, and growth metrics (with support from the LSM digital team)
Earn commission on sponsorships, donations, and ad placements you generate through the newsletter
Ideal Candidate
Passionate about tennis, sports, or community programs
Organized and self-driven with strong communication and writing skills
Comfortable using Canva, Mailchimp, Google Docs, or Zeffy (training provided if needed)
Enjoys connecting with people and promoting good causes
Experience in marketing, journalism, or nonprofit development is a plus
Compensation
This is a commission-based opportunity you’ll receive a percentage of all sponsorships, ads, and donations generated through your outreach and content.
There may also be opportunities for stipend or hourly pay as the project grows.
Why Join LoveSetMatch? You’ll be part of a team that’s transforming lives through tennis, mentorship, and education — helping families stay active, connected, and inspired. You’ll also build a network within the Southern California tennis community while contributing to a mission that truly makes a difference.
