Key Responsibilities
Host and create daily multimedia video - pitching and coming up with the concepts, executing, and editing efficiently every day
Daily production of short‑form breaking news, explainers, and other experiential video formats across the FOS family of channels
Attend creative brainstorms, kick‑offs, and team meetings, contributing meaningful ideas and pitches to the newsroom
Work closely with our social, production operations, and editorial teams to find the right story and produce it for the right audience
Travel for shoots, where you’ll need to be self‑sufficient and turn tentpole programming around quickly
Stay on top of everything happening that is relevant to our channels - across sports, business, pop culture, politics, and everything else that pertains to our content
Publish content to our FOS channels, including Instagram and TikTok
Review content before it’s posted by proofreading, spell‑checking, and QCing videos
Work collaboratively with a cross‑functional team across FOS to align the content we post with the strategy in place
Strategize with the leaders from the Multimedia, Creative Strategy, Partnerships, and Editorial teams around future opportunities and long‑term planning
Uphold FOS’s social and editorial guidelines
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
2‑4 years of experience as a host, content creator, or multimedia reporter covering sports, business, news, and entertainment on your own or for another outlet
A highly motivated mindset to tell the best stories around the behind‑the‑scenes of sports
Ability to be a self‑starter and take initiative
Flexible worker who understands the sports and news content calendars
Ability to work cross‑functionally, take direction from many stakeholders
Excellent communication skills with a mindset for organization, planning, and collaboration
Ability to operate in a high‑pressure environment with tight deadlines
Energy and Collaboration: Work alongside a high‑performing, like‑minded team that brings passion and purpose to every day
Understanding of how to engage audiences across social and video platforms
