Filing clerks process and maintain legal title/contract documents in a secure filing system. They must maintain the integrity of the system on a daily basis. There are various functions/tasks required in the DMC. Resource person for the team.
Responsibilities
Filing clerks process and maintain legal title/contract documents in a secure filing system; maintain the integrity of the system on a daily basis.
Essential duties include the ability to perform all File Clerk I functions.
Ability to work well with others.
Ability to make sound judgement calls in reference to daily DMC functions.
Act as a resource person for the team.
Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
1-2 years of previous filing experience.
Independent worker/self-starter.
Minimum Job Skills, Abilities and Qualifications
Must be able to lift boxes or totes up to 25 pounds.
Must have good computer skills.
Must be willing to work and assist with a team environment.
Ability to train staff on various functions.
Must have Excel spreadsheet and Word experience.
Ability to work with reports.
Ability to relay problems and issues to management.
Ability to offer suggestions for improved methods for process flows.
Must have research skills for retrieving and locating documents.
Must be flexible and able to multi-task.
