Heartland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a reliable
Laundry Aide
to help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory and label resident clothing.
Collect, sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and personal laundry.
Handle contaminated linens per protocol.
Deliver clean laundry to appropriate areas/residents.
Clean and maintain laundry equipment.
Perform daily housekeeping tasks including cleaning restrooms, common areas, floors, fixtures, windows, and surfaces.
Empty trash, restock supplies, and assist with terminal cleaning after discharges.
Follow cleaning schedules, safety procedures, and infection control standards.
Requirements
Ability to perform general laundry and housekeeping duties.
Nursing home experience preferred.
At least 1 year of experience in laundry or housekeeping.
Must respect resident rights and maintain confidentiality.
Must attend required trainings and follow safety protocols.
