Overview
Base pay range: $17.00/hr - $24.00/hr. This range is provided by JML Landscape Management. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Responsibilities
Seeking reliable team players to join our landscaping crews while following instructions and paying close attention to detail. Landscaping duties including but not limited to use of hand/power tools and other equipment, lay sod, mow, trim, plant, water, fertilize, dig, rake; install mortarless masonry wall units. Potential for winter hours would consist of snow removal. Snow removal duties include hand shoveling, applying de-icing materials to walks with a spreader, operating a snow blower, hand spreading of de-icing materials, operating a snowplow truck and salt spreader, operating a skid loader to push snow and load trucks, and being available on an on-call basis anytime during the winter months. Qualifications
High school diploma/GED preferred General knowledge of landscape maintenance Experience with a professional landscaping company preferred, not required Able to lift at least 50 lbs Ability to operate various equipment Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment Physical Requirements and Working Environment
The physical activities of this position include: Balancing – maintain body equilibrium to prevent falling or while walking, standing, or crouching Reaching – extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction Standing – stand for sustained periods Walking – move about on foot to accomplish tasks, including long distances or moving between sites Use of hands/fingers dexterity – picking, pinching, and working primarily with fingers Grasping – apply pressure to objects with fingers and palm Talking – communicate with Foreman/Supervisor; convey detailed or important spoken information Repetitive motion – frequent movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers Lifting – frequently move equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds Drivers – good eyesight, hearing, and physical condition Work is performed primarily in a field environment with travel between sites Exposed to moving traffic areas Constant exposure to outside elements (heat or cold) Benefits
