TNStumpff Enterprises, LLC – the nation’s leader in Contract Delivery Service for the United States Postal Service – is seeking part‑time letter carriers for a CDS mail route in the Ticonderoga, NY area.
The role is posted on the USPS portal and is available immediately.
Qualifications
Minimum 18 years old with a valid New York driver’s license.
Must be able to lift 70 lbs., work in all weather conditions, and reside in the Ticonderoga area.
Reliable, responsible, and able to follow USPS regulations.
Responsibilities
Sort mail into delivery sequence for active boxes.
Load mail and parcels into the delivery vehicle following the prescribed sequence.
Deliver mail along an assigned line‑of‑travel, dismounting when required for parcels, Express mail, and other accountable items.
Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Vehicle & Insurance Requirements
Applicant must provide a vehicle that meets postal regulations and can accommodate 120 cubic feet of usable load space.
Vehicle must be a dependable mini‑van or equivalent.
Applicant must carry liability insurance of at least $100,000/$500,000/$100,000 or $600,000 (CSL) for the contract vehicle.
The applicant bears all maintenance, fuel, and insurance costs.
Vehicle reimbursement is paid in addition to the hourly wage.
Employment Details
Hours: Day Shift – Part Time – one day per week (hours and day set with lead carrier).
Time: 8:15 am – 2:55 pm (start and end times may vary).
Pay: $25.25 per hour plus vehicle reimbursement. Straight time, health & welfare, holiday, and vehicle reimbursement are paid out in cash or cash equivalency up to a maximum of 40 hours per week per the DoL Wage Determination under the Service Contract Act.
Employees are hired as W‑2 personnel; sub‑contracting is not allowed by the USPS.
