Position Summary The Personal Shopper primarily engages with members to recommend and sell merchandise, guiding them to the best selection within Sam’s Club while ensuring a positive customer experience. Process membership benefits, conduct safety checks, manage inventory order fulfillment, and handle member inquiries.
Responsibilities
Develop and support Membership by providing information on Membership benefits, promoting the value of Company products and services, processing Membership upgrades and credit accounts, participating in sales and marketing events, and making efforts to meet Membership goals.
Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures and guidelines, conducting safety sweeps, following proper forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials appropriately, following Company steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to management.
Fulfill Member Fax n Pull and Click n Pull orders by reviewing orders, pulling items from shelves, scanning items, wrapping and palletizing items, ensuring accuracy of orders and invoices, securing items until Members arrive, and following up on out‑of‑stock merchandise to meet Member needs.
Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers and other business partners, identifying priorities, deadlines and expectations, carrying out tasks, communicating progress, determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities, and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties and feedback.
Provide Member service by acknowledging the Member, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues and concerns, and promoting the Company’s products and services.
Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, implementing related action plans and applying the Open Door Policy.
Respect the Individual and work collaboratively to build trustful relationships and communicate with impact, energy and positivity.
