We are looking for a
Resident Assistant
who would provide personal cares to improve and/or maintain the senior assisted living/memory care residents’ physical and emotional well-being for our busy senior living in Minnetonka, MN. In the position one will be provided on the job medication passing training and be expected to pass medications.
Part-Time Caregiver Schedule
24 hours per two weeks
Day shift: 6:00am-2:30pm
Week 1 - Tuesday
Week 2 - Saturday and Sunday
Every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday) rotation and rotating holiday
Responsibilities
Under direction of Nurse, provides health related services as needed such as passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.
May perform duties that include laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.
Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff.
Assists with onboarding of new staff.
Required Skills
Ability to communicate effectively, with compassion and kindness for residents and coworkers while working in a team setting.
Curiosity to work with a diverse and older population.
CNA certificated if under 18.
Preferred Education/Experience/Skills
High School diploma or GED or completion of a formal NA or HHA course.
