Usher/Ticket Taker
to support our upcoming 2026 season. As an usher, greeter or ticket taker, you will ensure safety, maintain venue cleanliness, and engage with guests before, during, and after the show.
Responsibilities
Greet guests, scan tickets upon entry, answer questions, help locate seats, and verify tickets for access to different venue areas.
Assist with keeping the venue safe, clean, and presentable.
Resolve guest complaints or problems.
Verify ticket authenticity and special‑needs accommodations.
Participate in venue recycling and sustainability efforts.
Guide guests to exits and provide instructions during emergencies.
Assist in verifying crew credentials to restricted areas.
Coordinate with crew at show end to close the venue and handle recycling and equipment storage.
Provide directions to venues or surrounding areas as needed.
Ensure guests are safely enjoying the show.
Support management with additional tasks as requested.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
At least 1+ year of guest‑service experience preferred.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
Physical ability to walk, climb stairs, sit intermittently, lift and carry 25 lbs or more.
