Summary Receives, orders, inventories, stores, and issues items (food, drugs, equipment, chemicals, products, etc.) throughout the facility and off‑site locations. This position performs these duties in both patient and non‑patient related care areas and is assigned to a variety of departments throughout UNC Hospitals.
Responsibilities
Assists with patient and other transportation as requested
Loads and unloads supplies. Packs and unpacks items to be stocked.
Maintains invoices and other records.
Maintains storage areas in safe, neat and clean condition.
Receives, orders, inventories, stores, and distributes supplies.
User consultation—meets with users to fulfill needs.
Education Requirements
None required.
Licensure & Certification Requirements
If a driver: Valid NC Driver's license.
Professional Experience Requirements
No prior experience required.

This is a State position employed by UNC Health Care System with UNC Health benefits. If, however, you are presently an employee of another North Carolina agency and currently participate in TSERS or the ORP, you will be eligible to continue participating in those plans at UNC Health.
