$81,000 - $126,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations and company policies.
Develop, implement, and manage EHS programs, policies, and procedures for manufacturing operations.
Conduct regular EHS risk assessments, inspections, and audits, implementing corrective and preventative actions.
Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and monitor the effectiveness of corrective measures.
Develop and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs for all employees.
Manage hazardous waste, air emissions, and wastewater discharge in accordance with environmental permits.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety performance and environmental sustainability.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS), Engineering, or a related scientific field.
7+ years of progressive EHS experience, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and relevant state/local EHS regulations and standards.
Proven experience developing, implementing, and managing EHS management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and core EHS programs.
Professional EHS certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM).
Bonus Qualifications
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation.
Experience integrating EHS principles with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
Proficiency with advanced EHS management software platforms or EHS data analytics.
Demonstrated experience managing EHS in a unionized manufacturing environment.
Prior experience with sustainability initiatives or ESG reporting.
