Job Overview Neuroscience Sales Specialist – Savannah, GA

The Neuroscience Sales Specialist II has overall responsibility for meeting or exceeding sales expectations within their assigned territory in an ethical and compliant manner. Responsibilities include understanding and identifying customer needs, aligning marketing resources, supporting pull‑through activities, and embodying Intra‑Cellular’s corporate vision of improving the lives of patients suffering from neuropsychiatric disorders.

Job Responsibilities

Drive sales performance to meet or exceed forecasts within the assigned territory by calling on HCP offices and Mental Health Community Centers both in‑person and virtually.

Effectively use assigned budgets to achieve territory objectives, customizing discussions and client interactions based on customer needs in a compliant and ethical manner.

Maintain current understanding of local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers; share information with relevant internal stakeholders.

Provide input into resource allocation decisions across customers/region and identify appropriate programs/resources for each customer, practice, and/or system.

Work with Regional Business Manager and key stakeholders to develop a local business plan that ensures achievement of all business objectives, capitalizing on formulary approvals and other opportunities.

Collaborate with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists on common objectives and sharing of best practices.

Accurately manage administrative tasks such as work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, synchronization, sample and expense reporting.

Inform and build a business plan based on the depth and breadth of customer business needs, resources, and products.

Complete all company and job‑related training within required timelines.

Job Requirements

2+ years of sales experience in pharmaceuticals, biologics, or medical device sales; 3+ years in specialty pharmaceuticals preferred.

Launch, antipsychotic, and/or bipolar sales experience highly preferred.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, a valid driver’s license, and a safe driving record.

Strong desire and passion for improving the lives of patients and their caregivers.

High integrity and compliance with the Company’s policies and procedures.

Strong self‑motivation, initiative, entrepreneurial drive, excellent decision‑making judgment, teamwork, and cross‑functional skills.

A proven track record of success in learning and adapting to evolving environments such as Covid‑19.

Agility and ability to adapt to the changing telemedicine/virtual environment.

Ability to analyze data/metrics to assess progress against objectives, diagnose performance issues, and identify new opportunities.

Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information to a diverse customer audience.

Work hours may include meetings scheduled outside of normal hours.

Territories may require overnight travel; some domestic travel to corporate headquarters, training, and sales meetings will also be required periodically.

Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $98,000 – $155,000.
