experienced CNC Mill Machinist
to join our day‑shift (Monday‑Friday, 6:00am‑2:30pm) manufacturing team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC milling machines to produce high‑mix, low‑volume precision components that meet exact specifications and quality standards.
What you'll do:
Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce a variety of products and parts to specification
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters
Perform in‑process inspections using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.)
Make program edits and offsets as needed to ensure quality and efficiency
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Work collaboratively with engineering, quality, and production teams
Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements
Adhere to all safety, quality, and company standards
What we need: Applicants should have the following skills and abilities.
Minimum
five (5) years of CNC milling experience
in a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of CNC machining principles, tooling, and materials
Ability to read and interpret complex mechanical drawings and GD&T
Experience with tight tolerances and high‑precision parts
Knowledge of Feed & Speed
Experience machining stainless steel, alloy steels, and other specialty materials
Familiarity with high‑mix, low‑volume manufacturing
Familiarity with ISO‑style quality systems
Demonstrate excellent safety practices & housekeeping
Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
Manual machining experience and/or grind experience a plus
Willingness to work a minimum of eight hours of overtime per week on an as‑needed basis during busy times

Pay range - $22.50-30.00/hr (please note that this range will vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, prior experience, knowledge, skills, and education as they relate to the position's qualifications.)
96 hours of PTO and an additional 56 hours of paid sick leave annually for new hires, with additional PTO added after five years of service
