for the role of

Sales Representative I . This position is responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships, promoting products and solutions, and achieving sales goals within the assigned territory. The role involves managing projects from inception to completion while working closely with the sales manager, general manager, and operations teams to ensure alignment with business objectives. Employment Type Full-time On-site with significant travel (approximately 70% within Colorado territory, including Canon City, Colorado Springs, Walsenburg, and surrounding areas) Key Responsibilities Build and maintain positive customer relationships with current and potential accounts Develop and implement strategies to grow sales volume, market share, and product adoption Plan and schedule visits to accounts within the assigned territory Follow up on new leads and referrals generated from field activity Prepare action plans, status reports, and territory trend analyses Attend sales meetings and participate in strategic planning Represent the organization at regional and national industry events, conferences, and trade shows Collaborate with marketing staff to develop and deliver sales materials Monitor service quality, address customer inquiries or complaints, and ensure satisfaction Demonstrate commitment to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work areas Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of equivalent experience Experience Previous outside sales experience in the building materials industry preferred Experience building and maintaining a customer base, managing delivery, and supporting internal and external stakeholders Technical / Professional Skills Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to plan, organize, and manage projects effectively Proficiency in standard office software (Microsoft Office or Google Workspace) Travel Approximately 70% local travel within Colorado Additional Requirements Ability to perform essential job functions in a safety-sensitive environment with proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement Retirement savings plans (401(k) pre-tax and/or Roth after-tax) Medical, dental, disability, and life insurance coverage Holistic health and well-being programs Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) Vision and voluntary benefits Paid time off and holidays Parental leave (maternity & paternity) Educational assistance programs Equal Opportunity Statement All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to legally protected characteristics.
