Your Impact The Account Executive drives revenue growth for Splunk Commercial accounts, establishing a strategic vision and generating pipeline. You consistently meet license, support, and service revenue targets while directly influencing customer experience.

Responsibilities

Drive revenue growth and expand a geo‑based territory by engaging existing customers and new prospects to contribute directly to the organization’s financial goals.

Collaborate with business partners to develop compelling enterprise solutions that articulate clear value and ROI across multiple decision‑makers, enhancing cross‑team alignment and customer success.

Influence the customer experience by enabling high transactional velocity and delivering impactful sales outcomes that support the company’s mission.

Seize unique opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth within a supportive environment.

Define success by consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets, fostering strong customer relationships, and contributing to overall market presence and revenue share.

Minimum Qualifications

2+ years of SaaS sales experience, including a discrete quota‑carrying role.

Preferred Qualifications

Understanding of how Splunk products and services address customer challenges.

Track record of consistently exceeding sales targets.

Consultative and solution selling experience (e.g., MEDDPICC, Value Selling).

Territory planning, forecasting, and full sales cycle management skills.

Critical judgment to analyze complex situations, assess risks, and develop creative solutions.

Negotiation, communication, and presentation skills with confidence engaging C‑level executives.

Experience in software domains such as IT systems, enterprise management, DevOps, security, business applications, or analytics.

Compensation Base salary range: $136,000–$187,000 (U.S. and/or Canada locations). Incentive compensation and benefits are also offered.
