Job Title Licensed Senior Premier Relationship Manager – BMO Financial Group, USA

Overview U.S. Only. This role acts as an originator of consumer loans, requiring compliance with Regulation Z, Regulation G, the S.A.F.E. Act, and completion of a federal registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry. A criminal background review and credit history evaluation are required, with restrictions on real‑estate agent capacity.

Responsibilities

Serve as the customer’s primary relationship manager, providing personalized attention to uncover their specific financial needs and goals.

Act as the primary client contact to uncover financial needs and provide meaningful solutions in compliance with regulatory and compliance policies.

Collaborate within the market, BMO partners, and the community to build relationships and deliver the desired customer experience.

Leverage internal partnerships to provide comprehensive strategies and solutions for affluent customers’ financial needs.

Maintain high standards of security, safeguarding procedures, and due diligence in accordance with bank policies.

Manage credit applications to ensure sound credit‑granting principles and recommend remedies to maintain acceptable asset and credit quality.

Conduct quality customer review meetings for retention and relationship expansion.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new asset acquisition and cross‑selling of financial products.

Provide training and mentorship to branch personnel on mass‑affluent client strategies and products.

Educate clients on digital banking options and self‑serve technologies.

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to diagnose and solve problems within given rules.

Monitor exception reports and take corrective action.

Support strategic initiatives and deliver timely, accurate, and efficient service.

Exercise independent judgment on complex tasks and problem solving.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in a financial services organization with deep knowledge of banking products, pricing, and profitability.

Required licenses: SIE Exam, Series 6, Series 63, Life & Health (obtained within six months if not currently held).

Advanced understanding of deposit, loan (including mortgage), cash flow analysis, lending processes, credit risk policies, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Excellent knowledge of brokerage, insurance, and business services, including retirement plans, business banking solutions, insurance, and succession planning.

Proficiency in personal trust and investment management.

In‑depth client portfolio management experience.

Technical proficiency and strong verbal and written communication, collaboration, analytical, problem‑solving, influence, and data‑driven decision‑making skills.

Salary & Benefits Competitive base salary ranging from $63,300.00 to $117,200.00, quarterly incentives and annual bonus opportunities, plus comprehensive benefits including health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans. Compensation varies by location, skills, experience, and education.
