We’re seeking a driven and relationship-focused

Account Executive

with a proven track record in technical sales. In this role, you will serve as a trusted consultant to clients—crafting AV solutions, negotiating contracts, and generating new business while supporting seamless event execution.

What You’ll Be Doing

As an Account Executive, you’ll own the client relationship from first contact through final payment, developing proposals, closing deals, and coordinating event details with internal teams.

Client Consultation

– Respond to inquiries, qualify event needs, assess budgets, and recommend AV solutions

Proposal Development

– Build and present formal proposals and revise as needed to close business

Negotiation & Closing

– Explain policies, negotiate pricing/discounts within guidelines, and secure signed contracts and deposits

Event Coordination

– Visit venues, survey sites, and align logistics, equipment, and power requirements with internal teams

Cross-Team Collaboration

– Work closely with Show Services, warehouse, logistics, and labor teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility

Pre-Show Review

– Review pulled equipment prior to shipment and authorize show packages

Post-Show Follow-Through

– Prepare final billing documentation, confirm client satisfaction, and resolve outstanding issues

Business Development

– Renew relationships, network, prospect, cold-call, and drive new revenue opportunities

Additional Duties

– Perform other related tasks as assigned to support business needs

Skills and Knowledge

Proven record of

closing sales

in events, AV, or related industries

Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

Ability to interpret technical requirements for live events

Organized, proactive, and confident in a client-facing environment

Qualifications

3+ years experience developing technical proposals for corporate meetings, trade shows, hospitality, event management, or similar industries

Demonstrated success in sales performance

Physical Demands & Working Conditions This role may involve a mix of office, venue, and warehouse environments, including:

Office and desk-based work

Event venues, construction sites, and warehouse environments

Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.

Use of hand tools or exposure to onsite conditions

Travel up to
