Route Sales Support Driver

Responsibilities/Essential Functions
Safely operate a company step van in a designated area to provide products and service to a variety of clients.
Verify daily preventative maintenance of vehicle and maintain proper operator documentation.
Manage daily route independently to ensure accurate and timely delivery of product.
Load/unload product per company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Review invoices daily for complete and accurate information and make corrections as needed.
Meet sales goals and promote overall route growth to enhance profitability.
Develop leads/prospects, call prospective customers to solicit business, prepare service agreements, and install new accounts.
Assist the sales organization with procurement of additional new business.
Possess a strong understanding of services, policies, and pricing methods and clearly communicate these to customers.
Monitor customer feedback and handle issues in a prompt and courteous manner.
Take responsibility for personal safety and watch out for the safety of others, using safe precautions, tools, and equipment, and adhering to all safe work practices and policies.
Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the activities enumerated above.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Minimum 21 years of age, valid driver’s license, and excellent driving record.
Customer service experience with a wide variety of consistent customer contact.
Strong math and basic computer skills.
Demonstrated experience selling services/products and generating new business preferred.
Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and think quickly to identify/solve customer concerns.
Working Environment / Safety Requirements
Exposure to adverse and varying weather conditions, potentially extreme hot or cold temperatures depending on geographical location.
Fast‑paced environment sometimes requiring irregular and long hours.
Physical requirements: routinely lift and maneuver a minimum of 25 lbs. and load/unload product from truck without assistance; occasionally lift and maneuver 50+ lbs.; ability to bend, squat, climb, and reach.
Experience
Relevant experience in sales support or logistics preferred.
Education and Credentials
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license (required).
Location
Fort Worth, TX (primary), with other locations such as Hurst, TX and Roanoke, TX also considered.
