Fayetteville, NC . Cape Fear Valley Medical Center is a trauma level III acute care hospital with 733 licensed beds and 78 rehabilitation beds. The hospital is part of the Cape Fear Valley Health System, the 8th largest in the state with 916 patient beds.

What You’ll Do

Provide culinary leadership including menu planning, program execution, staff management and training.

Be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and production forecasting.

Ensure Sodexo culinary standards—recipe compliance and food quality—are implemented.

Develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations.

Ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety compliance.

Manage automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems; knowledge of KRONOS preferred.

Handle food management and scheduling.

Maintain garnishing, purée standardization, FMS sheets, inventory control, HACCP, cleaning schedules, staffing plans, presentation quality and kitchen cleanliness per Sodexo standards.

Monitor, audit, implement and standardize new menus.

Conduct audits, create action plans and maintain GC audit books.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Minimum Management Experience: 3 years.

Minimum Functional Experience: 3 years in food or culinary services (restaurants, fast food, vending, catering, institutional services, or similar).

Location: Fayetteville, NC. Salary: $90,000.00 - $101,250.00 (Competitive).
