National Accounts Manager - Flooring

Main duties and responsibilities This position is responsible for developing and maintaining sales relationships with our key customers in North America. In particular, the National Accounts Manager will focus on growing market share in the laminate flooring segment. This role will build, manage and execute joint business plans with customers and work collaboratively with internal and external teams. Focus may be on large box retailers and/or the distribution channel and independent retailers. This position's target is to maximize customer service and profits for the company through the use of technical, organizational, and customer knowledge.
Requirements
Must be a strong communicator and be at ease when speaking with plant personnel and our customer's CEO alike
Must enjoy challenging and rewarding work and must be ambitious with a will to win
Must be self‑motivated and be able to work with little to no supervision
Intermediate to advanced skills using Microsoft Office suite
Must be customer focused and self‑starting; must be able to forge long‑term relationships with small and large customers; must have strong knowledge of laminate flooring products and customers
Excellent written and verbal communication / presentation skills
Excellent customer relations skills including customer response, service improvement, and the ability and willingness to keep commitments
Display original thinking and creativity through resourcefulness, suggestions, and problem solving
Excellent math skills including the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percents as well as to create and interpret graph and chart information
