Job Responsibilities
Oversee the entire shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
Model exemplary behavior and enforce all policy and procedures 100% of the time.
Handle staffing, paperwork, cost controls, and cash control.
Manage food management, schedule work, maintain a perfect image, and uphold standards.
Deliver great customer service, attend to punctuality, and ensure store cleanliness.
Drive to and from work and deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area.
Operate all equipment and stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, walk‑in cooler, and work area.
Prepare product, receive and process telephone orders, and take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility daily.
Qualifications
Strong communication skills – verbally and in writing – to process orders over the phone and in person.
Basic math abilities (add, subtract, multiply, divide) and accurate monetary change.
Computer proficiency – enter orders using a keyboard or touch screen.
Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within assigned delivery area.
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle for delivery.
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, stoop, bend, and reach – see Physical Requirements below.
Work Conditions Work can involve varying temperatures, exposure to food odors, and occasional adverse weather when delivering. In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in the cooler to above 90°F. Tasks may also involve hot surfaces, sharp edges, and confined spaces such as walk‑in coolers.
Physical Requirements
Stand, walk, and work for extended periods; walking surfaces include ceramic tile and linoleum.
Lift items up to 50 lb (e.g., ingredient cases, pizza sauce) and carry trays up to 12 lb.
Push trays on dollies (up to 30 lb) and pull where necessary.
Climb ladders or stairs infrequently; may involve five or more flights of stairs during delivery.
Bend, stoop, and squat occasionally when stocking shelves or cleaning low areas.
Reach up to 72 in. for oven controls and down for scooping cornmeal.
Operate a vehicle for pizza delivery within a designated area.
