Overview
Credit & Collections Coordinator at Ben E. Keith Company. This role provides administrative support to the day-to-day operations of the credit department. Responsibilities
Setup, process and monitor progress of credit applications, including follow-up to completion. Provide excellent customer service internally and externally. Maintain, re-reference and follow-up with customers on various needs. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Key Outputs / Accountabilities
Setup customer accounts and maintain the master customer file, ensuring all credit data is recorded, filed, and entered in the database, including verification and documentation of customer taxability. Processing of references for credit applications. Follow-up and auditing of new customer account files for completion. Respond to customer invoice requests in a timely manner. Research invoice short pays and follow-up to invoice resolution. Prepare and review government accounts ageing reports, credit memos, and related activity. Maintain monthly tax reports and communicate tax permit expirations to Customers and Sales Team. Process non-sufficient funds checks; update customer accounts accordingly. Review accounts receivable records and investigate discrepancies or errors. Present information effectively to groups of managers, clients, and customers as needed. Maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information according to company policy. Qualifications
High School graduate / GED. Previous experience with credit/collections is preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to learn and use all Ben E. Keith applications. Valid driver’s license required for driving to perform Company business. Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; schedule may be adjusted to accommodate business needs. Customer-focused and professional demeanor; maintain a positive attitude and dress code. Must be 18 years or older. Physical Requirements
Regularly required to sit; occasionally required to stand, walk, climb or balance; vision requirements include close, color, and focused vision. Occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions; moderate noise level in the work environment. Benefits
