Customer Account Specialist

Job Purpose Summary The Customer Account Specialist manages a defined domestic territory of Ciranda customer accounts, collaborating with the Sales department to manage customer communications and to process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Manage relationships with assigned domestic customer accounts, confirming, and entering orders, overseeing the order life cycle from placement to delivery.
Serve as one of the primary points of contacts for assigned customer accounts for all order and invoicing questions.
Arrange domestic delivery of orders to customers in cases where it is requested.
Communicate order discrepancies to customers, truck brokers and Sales colleagues, while working to resolve issues.
Accept and process prepayment orders.
Continually communicate with warehouses to ensure shipments are dispatched on time and correct product and lots are pulled and shipped.
Enter all bills of lading for assigned accounts.
Create customer claims for assigned accounts.
Act as back-up to Senior Customer Account Specialists during absences or in times of high volume.
Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Required Education & Experience
High school education or equivalent required.
Minimum one year of related experience, such as order fulfillment, required.
