We are seeking experienced and reliable Class A Semi Truck Drivers to join our team at Reyes Energy Corp. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods via semi-trucks and tractor-trailers across local routes. Operate Class A commercial vehicles equipped with tanker trailers to transport liquid commodities (e.g., fuel, chemicals, or food-grade products) in full compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) guidelines if applicable, and company policies. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and roadworthiness; report any mechanical issues promptly. Load, secure, and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques to prevent damage or accidents. Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS, maps, and dispatch instructions to meet delivery schedules. Maintain accurate logs of hours driven, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery details via electronic logging devices (ELDs) and paper records as required. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding shipment status, delays, or issues. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and hazardous materials handling procedures (if applicable). Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as checking fluids, tires, and brakes. Ensure compliance with weight limits, hours-of-service (HOS) rules, and environmental standards. Represent the company professionally during interactions with clients and the public. Qualifications and Requirements
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Tanker (N) endorsement; Hazmat (H) endorsement preferred or required depending on cargo type. Minimum of 2 years verifiable experience as a semi-truck driver. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications (e.g., Hazmat, Tanker, or Doubles/Triples endorsements) are a plus. Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, FMCSA rules, and state-specific trucking laws. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb in/out of the cab, and secure loads. Excellent time management and problem-solving skills. Ability to pass a DOT physical exam, drug/alcohol screening, and background check. Familiarity with electronic logging systems and basic vehicle maintenance. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with potential for over-the-road (OTR) travel. Reliable transportation to and from the worksite. Preferred Skills
