Responsibilities
Engage with guests – provide outstanding customer service in person and via phone, assist guests in finding items, taking orders and special requests, and addressing guest concerns.
Maintain stock levels – ensure all items are well stocked and displayed according to company standards, rotate products using FIFO to ensure freshness.
Ensure cleanliness & food safety – keep sales floor and cooler clean, organized, and free of spills; log temperatures of produce items and complete rotation sheets & shrink recording daily.
Maintain supplies & produce cooler – keep roll bags, twist ties, and other supplies stocked; rotate items within the cooler using FIFO; order specific products as needed.
Teamwork – perform other duties as needed to support the team.
Honor commitments – regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule; provide adequate notice for absences.
Qualifications
Customer service skills – ability to engage guests and provide outstanding service.
Communication – strong oral and written communication skills.
Teamwork – ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, diverse team environment.
Safety awareness – understanding of safety requirements and company safety policies.
Knowledge – knowledge of the retail food business and perishable department operations.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Full range of upper body motion.
Must work at a fast pace.
May be exposed to extreme temperatures.
Work Schedule
Part‑time position, scheduled for 28 hours a week or less.
Shifts vary; may include weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
