Experienced Account Manager Needed in Bismarck, ND

Responsibilities
Own client relationships and commercial contracts; act as the central point of contact for assigned accounts.
Ensure maintenance agreements are 100% accurate and current (spend plans, equipment lists, AP contacts, client contacts, repair approval thresholds).
Schedule and lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and routine site/contract audits to validate scope, satisfaction, and performance.
Serve as the first line for customer complaints and communications; drive resolution with Service Manager and Service Coordinator.
Lead sales and coordination for component/part replacement projects; collaborate with the Primary Technician and Project Manager for pricing details, and Service Coordinator for execution and logistics.
For full unit replacement projects (e.g., RTU, AHU, etc.), provide details to Sales for them to follow-up and provide pricing to the customer
Coordinate with technicians on-site to ensure contract clarity and proper execution, including documentation updates.
Deliver updates on rates at renewal (in collaboration with Service Manager, Service Coordinator, and Project Manager).
Track and report customer performance metrics (e.g., satisfaction, renewals progress, service response outcomes).
Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities during audits and QBRs (e.g., unbilled equipment, scope corrections).
Ensure contractual compliance—service execution aligns with commitments in customer contracts.
Requirements
Proven experience in commercial account management or customer success (HVAC or building services preferred).
Strong communication and customer service/relationship-building skills with facility leaders and vendor partners.
Working knowledge of commercial HVAC service agreements and project workflows (PM scheduling, dispatch, work orders).
Ability to read contracts, scopes, proposals, and spend plans; basic financial acumen for pricing review.
Proficiency with CRM and office tools (e.g., Pipedrive, Outlook, Excel, Word); familiarity with XOI or similar field documentation tools.
Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of coordinating cross-functional efforts (Service Manager, Service Coordinator, Project Manager, Dispatcher).
Valid driver’s license and ability to conduct on-site reviews and client meetings statewide.
