THE JOB: The Banquets Manager will be responsible for managing the daily operations of all catering functions, coordinating all function activities with the Catering, Sales, and Culinary teams, and overseeing catering equipment maintenance and inventory. This role is responsible for the execution and supervision of all meeting space banquet functions. The Banquets Manager works closely with the Conference Services and Catering Managers, the Culinary team, and clients to provide an exceptional experience for our guests. This is a highly visible leadership role in which you directly impact the guests visit and have the ability to create memories that will last a lifetime!

Requirements

Five (5) or more years of experience in a food and beverage operational position

High level of computer literacy

Requires the ability to lead others in the department by mentoring and providing training that results in staff that meets/exceeds guest expectations and provides a high level of service.

Possess a basic knowledge of the banquet department operations

Must have excellent customer service/communication skills to work with guests and providing a high level of guest satisfaction.

Ability to work on AM, PM, weekend and holiday shifts as required by operational needs.

A valid current Food Handlers Card or willingness and ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.

Experience within a hotel/resort environment
