Praetorian Power Protection LLC, the leader in NETA testing and staff augmentation to the mission critical industry, seeks a strong Owner's Representative for a data center project in Burlington, TX. The role focuses on driving the project, holding General Contractors and third‑party vendors accountable to aggressive milestones, and serving as the on-site eyes and ears to identify bottlenecks and maintain the critical path. You will bridge high-level deadlines with daily construction site realities.
Responsibilities
Rigorously review GC provided schedules (P6/MS Project).
Identify and address schedule float, recover time through resequencing or double shifting when needed.
Perform daily site walks to verify Manpower vs. Progress against upcoming milestones.
If the GC is behind, develop and push recovery plans.
Proactively clear hurdles for the GC.
Oversee long lead Distributed Power Systems and Direct to Chip cooling manifolds, ensuring 3rd party vendors integrate into the GC’s workflow.
Manage 3rd party Commissioning agents to prevent testing from becoming a bottleneck at project end.
Drive Pull Planning sessions for the Integrated Systems Test (IST) and lead War Room meetings when milestones are missed.
Communicate effectively with GC leadership and subcontractors to keep the project on track.
Qualifications
10+ years as a Lead Superintendent or Senior PM for a Tier 1 General Contractor before moving to the Owner's side.
Critical Path Mastery: Expert level understanding of CPM scheduling; ability to deconstruct schedules.
Aggressive Problem Solving: Proactively obtain answers to keep the site moving.
Infrastructure Expertise: Deep knowledge of Distributed Power Architectures and High Density Thermal Management.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Time to Ready for Gear (dust-free and powered on date).
Schedule Variance: Maintain a variance of
Issue Resolution Time: Average time to close out RFIs or submittals blocking the field.
