is seeking a dynamic sales professional to promote our innovative women's health therapies within the Lafayette, LA region.
Role Overview As a Women’s Health Business Specialist, you will drive territory sales goals by educating physicians and medical personnel on Astellas products and services. You will represent Astellas professionally in the field, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and maintaining effective communication with key stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities
Promote and educate targeted physicians/HCPs on Astellas products through one‑on‑one meetings, group presentations, and company‑approved promotional activities.
Work 5 days in the field each week, supported by office time as needed for call planning, customer follow‑up, presentation preparation, appointment scheduling, and report generation.
Achieve territory product sales goals while adhering to all ethical sales practices and compliance guidelines.
Execute company‑approved Product Marketing plans and execute regional business plan activities.
Coordinate promotional efforts with peers across franchises and co‑promotion alliance partners.
Accurately report sales call activities, territory expenses, and written reports within deadlines.
Attend all company‑sponsored sales and medical meetings as directed by company management.
Perform additional duties as needed.
Qualifications
BA/BS degree
2+ years pharmaceutical selling experience
Strong knowledge of sales processes and pharmaceutical products and industry
Solid communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
Proactive and solution‑oriented mindset
Analytical thinking and business acumen
Team orientation and leadership potential
Proven record of sustained high sales performance
Proficient in MS Office Suite
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time; overnight travel possible
Valid driver’s license in good standing
Preferred
Advanced degree or continued education
Experience promoting specialty products
Salary Range $72,485 – $141,900 (Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, and organizational equity considerations).
