Local Truck Driver - Tractor Trailer

Job Description We are seeking a Local Truck Driver - Tractor-Trailer to join our team in Westminster! We are a great company to work for and offer ideal compensation, benefits and have many growth opportunities if you are a driven self starter.

You will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).

Responsibilities:

Safely operate a heavy or tractor‑trailer truck that transports cargo to and from specified destinations

Prepare, receive and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely service

Load, secure, and unload cargo

Maintain radio or telephone contact with dispatcher to receive the delivery or pick up instructions or to receive notice of changes in scheduled delivery or pick up

Maintain logs of travel and cargo according to federal and state regulations

May be responsible for vehicle maintenance and presentation

Rely on instructions and pre‑established guidelines to perform the functions of the job

Report any issues or incidents to dispatch

Inspect tractor‑trailer truck before and after trip

Qualifications:

Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields

Commercial driver's license (Class A)

Must have a "satisfactory" driving record

Ability to handle physical workloadStrong work ethic
