The Job:
Develop & implement a strategic sales and marketing plan for all the Stanley Black & Decker brands to include DEWALT, CRAFTSMAN, Stanley, and Black & Decker. Managing these brands for the AceHardware.com business to grow existing business and exploit incremental market share opportunities to achieve/exceed annual financial targets.
Develop influential relationships with online merchants and other key decision makers and related channel partners. Provide leadership on account service needs that occur on a daily basis to ensure timely execution and follow‑up of all activities.
Implement new product setup and ensure the accuracy and completeness of the Stanley Black & Decker brands online merchandising assets including product descriptions, images, videos, bullet points, and technical documents.
Formulate and execute annual sales, digital marketing, and promotional strategies/plans for AceHardware.com; focus on product offering, promotional plans, digital marketing, pricing/programming, online discoverability, content optimization, and online ratings & reviews.
Review online messaging and tactics to make sure they comply with overall channel and brand strategy. Making recommendations on improvements for a better online shopper experience.
Lead comprehensive analysis of business growth opportunities, potential avenues for share growth, and evaluate competitor and market dynamics/trends as input to strategic plans.
Interact weekly with channel marketing, brand, and product teams on new products and promotions.
Work hand in hand with supply chain and operations for forecast planning, in‑stock positions, new product roll‑outs, and fulfillment excellence overall.
Create and communicate performance and key metric scorecards. Generate accurate forecasts on a monthly basis and provide meaningful insights on customer and market performance to increase sales and share.
The Person:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent.
Knowledge of business with 3‑5 years of sales/marketing experience.
Strong entrepreneurial spirit with an eagerness to meet and exceed goals and targets.
Well‑developed analytical skills.
Great attention to detail.
Demonstrated success in problem solving with creative outcomes.
Ability to expand skills and take on additional responsibility in the near future.
Assertive, organized and strong follow‑through.
Ability to think analytically and make decisions based on numbers and/or fact‑based information.
Ability to understand the cross‑functional pieces of the SB&D business process and bring value‑added thinking to improve the target business process.
