Job Details This position earns commission in addition to base pay. PURPOSE: Renewal by Andersen is looking for accomplished, driven and motivated Lead Installers to help perfect our customer19s experience in upgrading their homes. The Lead Installer is responsible for window and door installation at a single job site. It ensures customer satisfaction, pre-arrival planning for materials and resources, confirms measurement of windows and doors prior to the commencement of work, performs routine to complex window or door installations, and proper work site shutdown. Provides direction and/or training to an Installer in accordance with Renewal by Andersen19s guidelines. We celebrate professional installers who bring craftsmanship and customer service together to create a premium experience. From design and sales through installation and service, we own the entire process—giving homeowners a single point of contact and creating a streamlined, hassle-free, white-glove renovation experience. We look for technicians who are also customer-service specialists and brand stewards. Responsibilities
Lead installation of windows and doors on a single job site, ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Plan pre-arrival materials and resources; confirm measurements prior to work start; perform routine to complex installations. Provide direction and training to an Installer in accordance with company guidelines. Maintain a professional image and act as the face of Renewal by Andersen to customers, explaining the process and addressing questions. Ensure proper site shutdown and cleanup after project completion. Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent Minimum of 5 years of window installation and remodeling experience (preferred) Minimum of 5 years managing job sites and leading crews in a construction environment (preferred) Ability and willingness to coach and mentor other installers Proven track record of superior workmanship Flexible schedule to work when homeowners are available (between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.) Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; working knowledge of hand and power tools Valid driver's license; effective communication with peers and homeowners Ability to handle confrontation diplomatically and maintain perspective under demanding conditions Strong task organization, tool/equipment proficiency, empathy and customer service skills Strong sense of accountability and teamwork; diagnostic, problem-solving and decision-making skills Self-motivation, time management and ability to work independently Benefits & Culture
