Responsibilities
Assemble and remove forms used for forming concrete structures during bridge/dam construction—including footings, abutments, walls, pier stems/columns, pier caps, bridge decking, and parapets.
Perform other duties assigned by the Foreman or other management.
Work on bridge, dam, highway, or road construction projects at various locations across Northern Wisconsin.
Qualifications
Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
High School diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
Punctual and dependable; able to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed.
Ability to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions, and in dirty and dusty environments.
Member of a Local Carpenters Union or willing to become a union member; union membership not required prior to employment.
Prior bridge construction experience and/or general construction experience (preferred).
Bridge decking experience and proficiency in building form footings, forming walls, wings, and tying corners using concrete forming.
