Responsibilities
Complete tasks with high attention to detail.
Adhere to and promote company safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment.
Identify and report potential safety hazards immediately.
Communicate and coordinate with team members to maintain a productive work environment.
Contribute value in a team setting and act with integrity.
Demonstrate growing technical expertise and personal responsibility.
Assist in preparation of construction sites, unloading, loading, moving materials, and clearing debris.
Prepare worksites for demolition and installation of concrete slabs, sidewalks, curbs, and storm‑water collection.
Align and brace formwork for concrete placement.
Install reinforcement steel as directed by supervisor.
Form, pour, and finish concrete using appropriate tools and equipment.
Disassemble/clean concrete forms after placement.
Shovel, dig trenches, backfill holes, grade, and compact stone, dirt, sand, and other materials.
Install storm‑water structures and piping.
Operate hand and power tools such as drills, jackhammers, and other equipment.
Direct traffic near construction sites when necessary, setting up and maintaining cones, barricades, and safety fencing.
Maintain strong commitment to attendance and punctuality.
Qualifications
Experience in construction or related field (preferred).
OSHA 10 certification preferred.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Physical ability to walk, stand, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and perform demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
Ability to remain alert and respond to team members and environment in safety‑sensitive conditions.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and ability to follow instructions.
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
Ability to pass company pre‑employment drug screen.
Commitment to a safe working environment.
Availability to work nights, weekends, and travel out of town as needed.
