Position: Leasing Agent / Property Manager
Responsibilities
Perform sales and leasing activities to achieve revenue and occupancy goals, including greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting community tours, showing apartments, processing applications, credit screening, criminal background checks, preparing lease and move‑in package, and ensuring smooth resident move‑in and lease signing.
Inspect apartments prior to move‑in to ensure they are move‑in ready and coordinate with maintenance for outstanding items.
Stay informed about market and competitor conditions; develop and implement short‑ and long‑term marketing plans and follow community policies for concessions, specials, and other programs to boost occupancy.
Design and execute marketing activities to generate traffic, including resident referral and employer outreach programs, internet marketing tools (Craigslist, Facebook, e‑mail, other websites), and other community‑specific plans.
Use on‑site property management software to track apartment availability, record traffic and leasing activities, manage resident and prospect data, and capture critical demographic information.
Ensure community and show units meet show‑quality standards by inspecting marketing corridor, communicating maintenance needs, merchandising, and preparing leasing office for daily leasing activities.
Follow‑up with prospects and new residents to ensure satisfaction via e‑mail, thank‑you notes/cards, phone calls, or other contacts to finalize lease decisions and renewals.
Support lease renewal program by preparing renewal letters and packages, meeting with renewing residents in advance of move‑out dates, and ensuring renewal documents are signed and implemented on time.
Respond quickly and courteously to resident and client/owner concerns, take prompt action to solve problems, and document and convey requests to appropriate individuals.
Promote a positive image of the apartment community and management company.
Qualifications
Two years of leasing experience in the multifamily industry.
Solid sales and customer service skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Active listening skills and willingness to learn.
Attention to detail with high accuracy.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Organizational and time‑management skills.
Strong computer skills.
Availability for weekends.

Criminal History Record If an offer of employment is made and accepted, continued employment will be contingent upon satisfactory results of a thorough criminal history record check. We also do not employ individuals with undisclosed criminal history. In special situations, exceptions may be made based on the nature of the crime, time since the offense, and other factors.
