Benchmark Community Bank is seeking an outgoing, service‑oriented teller for our roving team. The position primarily services the western South Side Virginia market from Farmville to Chase City, with the ability to travel to other locations as needed (mileage reimbursed). You will provide a high level of customer service at one of our 18 branches. What You’ll Do
Greet customers, greet them with a friendly, positive attitude and build lasting relationships. Efficiently process routine financial transactions (deposits, withdrawals, checks, loan payments) while maintaining accurate cash handling controls. Recommend product knowledge and financial solutions to meet customers’ present and future needs. Maintain a balanced cash drawer and conduct daily reconciliations with proper documentation. Find and report fraudulent activity, and search for discrepancies in checks and other products. Execute new account processing, update customer information, and provide customized, needs‑based solutions. Qualifications
1–2 years of banking experience preferred. Flexibility to travel to different branch locations. Excellent relationship‑building skills. Basic math and computer skills. Work Schedule & Salary
This full‑time position is scheduled Monday–Thursday 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. and Friday 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. with weekends free. Salary range: $17.00 to $22.60 per hour. Benefits
