This role involves leading direct sales efforts in your designated territory. Through comprehensive training, you’ll engage effectively with small and medium‑sized businesses across various industries, forging direct connections with business owners and decision‑makers. Your main focus will be promoting top‑notch supplemental insurance products and services to both business owners and employees. Expect personalized interactions with business owners, benefits managers, and employees, and occasional product presentations to groups ranging from 50 to 100+ people. As a sales leader, you’ll play a crucial role in driving successful outreach and making a difference.
Base pay: $88,000 – $108,000 per year.
Responsibilities
Spend part of the week actively participating in sales activities while balancing sales goals with providing training and mentorship to new team members.
Combine strong sales skills with prior experience in mentorship or leadership to drive team performance.
Qualifications
Strong communication skills for interactions with customers and sales staff.
Leadership and strategic planning abilities.
Familiarity with effective sales strategies.
Inspirational attitude and ability to create a motivating environment.
Ability to train others effectively.
Product knowledge.
Customer service skills.
Additional Qualifications
Pass a high‑level pre‑employment background check.
Active driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Active Health & Life Insurance Producer license in your resident state (or willingness to obtain, with study course provided and state licensing fee reimbursement available).
Bachelor’s degree or minimum of 4 years of post‑high‑school work experience (candidates within 6 months of degree completion or with less than 4 years of relevant sales or athletic background will be considered).
