Key Responsibilities

Operate all equipment and prepare products.

Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.

Prepare product and assemble orders.

Receive and process telephone orders.

Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.

Maintain daily cleanliness of equipment and facility.

Calculate correct monetary change.

Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.

Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers.

Ensure compliance with quality‑control standards.

Training Orientation and training are provided on the job.

Communication Skills

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.

Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers over the phone and in person.

Essential Functions / Skills

Accurate mental math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

Manual dexterity for fast and precise movements.

Ability to perform monetary exchanges accurately.

Motor coordination for keyboard or touchscreen entry.

Work Conditions Exposure To

Varied weather conditions when outside.

In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F to above 90°F.

Fumes from food odors and cornmeal dust.

Hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F.

Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

Cramped quarters such as walk‑in coolers.

Sensing

Reliable hearing and near/mid‑range vision.

Depth perception.

Distinguish between hot and cold surfaces.

Temperaments The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality standards, analyze data, and make judgments.

Qualifications

Must be 16 years of age or older.

Strong verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.

Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull trays, and operate in varying temperatures.

Experience with basic math and cashier duties.

Physical Requirements Arrival & Movement

Standing performed most tasks, with walking on ceramic tile and linoleum.

Walking short distances for short durations.

Sitting for paperwork at office desk.

Frequent lifting of deliveries weighing up to 50 lbs.

Carrying light items such as cans (3 lb), trays (12 lb each), and sauce (30 lb).

Pushing or pulling dollies when moving trays.

Climbing stairs or ladders infrequently.

Stooping/bending for about 30‑45 seconds continuously during the day.

Squatting occasionally for stocking and cleaning low areas.

Reaching up to 72+ inches, down, and forward continuously.

Continuous hand tasks requiring eye‑hand coordination.

Machines, Tools, and Equipment

Use of pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels.
