Responsibilities
Maintain carts, assist customers with purchases and cart loading, including loading into vehicles.
Check prices on products and return merchandise to shelves.
Retrieve and organize shopping carts, including pulling from parking lot and surrounding areas.
Pull merchandise from check stand (“go backs”) and return them to the proper shelf.
Monitor entrance and internal cleanliness: sweep, mop, and remove trash regularly.
Clean restrooms and maintain overall cleanliness throughout the store.
Qualifications
Read and write English; interact with customers and coworkers.
Read and comprehend simple instructions, labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
Write simple correspondence.
Present information to customers and employees effectively.
Apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs, frequently up to 45 lbs, occasionally up to 60 lbs.
Additional Qualifications (Optional)
Basic PC/Outlook skills.
Retail Management Certificate.
