About ReDefiners World Languages ReDefiners World Languages is committed to building sustainable funding models that allow us to grow our impact without overextending staff capacity. We are shifting from planning to operationalizing high-return individual giving systems.
Position Summary The Community Giving & Donor Engagement VISTA will help build efficient, scalable individual giving systems, with a focus on increasing the number of sustaining (monthly) donors.
This role does not involve asking for donations or managing donor relationships. Instead, the VISTA will design, test, and document high-ROI, low-lift systems that staff and board members can execute—aimed at generating at least 50 new sustaining donors annually.

Shadow staff to observe donor engagement and stewardship workflows
Conduct targeted research on high-ROI sustaining donor models used by peer organizations
Facilitate listening sessions with donors and board members to gather insights

Design a flagship high-net-worth donor cultivation event framework (strategy and playbook only)
Support real-world pilots of donor systems for learning and evaluation
Document all systems, tools, and learning in the Development Handbook

Comfort synthesizing feedback and data into practical tools
Ability to collaborate with staff and board members
Prior nonprofit or fundraising exposure helpful but not required
What You’ll Gain
