Responsibilities
Provide unskilled personal care services and homemaking services to the company’s patients.
Attend to unskilled personal care tasks as required by the consumer, using the company Rules and Regulations document.
Accompany or drive patients to physician/clinic appointments.
Provide assistance or standby assistance with bathing, skin care, hair care, toileting, dressing, shaving, nail care, mouth care, etc.
Perform housekeeping tasks as directed.
Make bed, change and launder linens.
Wash dishes, prepare meals and grocery shop.
Clean stove, kitchen, bathroom, and the consumer’s living area and bedroom.
Vacuum, sweep, dust, take out trash, run errands as needed, mop floors (ensure the floor is dry before leaving).
Advise staffing director of requests that cannot be met or of conditions which are unsafe.
Be dependable to consumers and the Company in both providing and documenting services on time sheets.
Additional responsibilities may be added as appropriate.
Qualifications
Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret regulations and other documents.
Requires personal transportation, valid state-issued driver’s license, good driving record and auto insurance as required by law.
Some experience working with elderly and frail individuals; will train.
Must be able to quickly learn specific software and new applications.
