Responsibilities
Assist customers by phone and in person at our facility
Use your customer service skills and talents to clarify their needs, do research, and (after you get up to speed) recommend parts
Be focused and driven to meet / exceed monthly sales goals while increasing customer satisfaction
Process quotes, take orders and provide post-order service
Requirements Our Customer Service Representatives are self‑motivated and driven by a desire to exceed expectations. They have strong prioritization and multitasking skill, a sense of urgency, and take pride in their verbal and written communication. Interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport and build solid relationships with a wide variety of customers are critical.
Specific Qualifications For The Role Include
6 months of customer service experience preferred
Desire to increase knowledge in industrial distribution products
Excellent telephone skills
Ability and desire to learn new systems and processes quickly
Enjoys working with computers, including basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Outlook & Excel) and comfortable with Google search engine
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR)
SAP / ERP experience, preferred but not required
Some knowledge of industrial distribution products and hydraulics, preferred but not required
Salary & Benefits Starting Salary : In accordance with applicable wage transparency law requirements, the typical estimated total compensation for this position is $18‑$22/hour depending on experience, including potential bonus opportunities. Bonus amounts can be tied to company, location and/or individual performance, but no specific amount is guaranteed.
Starting Salary: Salary will be based on your experience and qualifications and added incentives will be earned based on performance.
