Overview Entry Level Maintenance Technician at

Bigos Management, Inc.

– Lilydale, MN (126 Units).

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (shift hours can be flexible).

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day maintenance, cleaning, and groundskeeping support at Bigos Management properties to meet company standards and applicable laws.

Maintain exterior grounds and interior common areas in quality, presentable condition (trash pickup, sweeping, landscaping, weed control, etc.).

Ensure vacated apartments are rent-ready; complete work orders promptly; perform common area repairs (touch-up painting, fixture replacement, etc.).

Assist with vacated unit preparation (furniture removal, paint touch-up, sparkling the unit, repairs).

Work with onsite maintenance team to keep inventory of tools, parts, and supplies; maintain a clean workshop area.

Coordinate with Property Manager and on-site staff to ensure safety and compliance with all safety programs.

Demonstrate professional, positive interactions with residents, vendors, and colleagues.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Property Manager.

Qualifications

Education and Experience: 0–2 years of maintenance experience in a residential apartment setting or equivalent; Certified Pool Operators License recommended (where applicable within 6 months of hire).

Travel between sites may require reliable transportation, valid state driver’s license, and proof of insurance.

Skills: Fluent in English; strong verbal and written communication; ability to use tact and diplomacy; good decision-making, problem solving, and time management; ability to manage multiple tasks with self-direction; able to work collaboratively in a team.

Physical Demands: Able to work in a physically demanding environment; frequent kneeling, lifting up to 80 lbs with assistance; exposure to weather, dust, noise, and power tools; ability to climb stairs and navigate hallways and common areas.

Personal Protective Equipment: Safety gloves, safety eyewear, ear protection as appropriate.
