This hybrid position will be based in the South MS territory ranging from Hattiesburg to the MS Gulf Coast, with a office location in Gulfport. Depending on experience, you earn a base salary of $50,000 - $65,000/year.
With uncapped commission, your earning potential reaches $90,000 to $100,000k +, based on your success in the field.

YOUR DAY You normally work from Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 5:00 pm.
As a Commercial Business Development Representative, your role is crucial to our business's short- and long-term success! You're responsible for traveling to new facilities, plants, and distribution centers and promoting our services to potential clients. With an upbeat and motivated attitude, you engage in prospecting activities like cold- calling, social selling, emailing, and networking to find leads.
You perform market research to identify trends and will learn the Sandler methodology to guide your Patrick Allen Companies sales strategies. When an opportunity is qualified, you collaborate with the project management team to create, review, and implement proposals. You're motivated to smash your targets consistently and conquer your territory!
REQUIREMENTS
2+ years of experience in business-to-business sales and prospecting new business
Computer proficiency with knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) practices and ability to maintain professional relationships
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel daily in territory and occasionally overnight
Self-starter attitude with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Professional attitude and appearance
Problem-solving skills, ability to take constructive feedback, and desire to improve
A college degree would be preferred. Sales experience in the manufacturing or industrial sectors would also be a bonus.
