The Department of Athletics provides intercollegiate, intramural, and recreational opportunities for students. Through these opportunities students achieve educational and personal fulfillment, life skills, character development and campus pride. Currently IU Southeast offers 9 intercollegiate varsity sports: Men's and Women's Basketball, Men's and Women's Tennis, Men's and Women's Golf, Volleyball, Baseball and Softball. The Grenadier athletic department also fields Cheerleading as a student organization.

Department Specific Responsibilities Oversees all social media and website content for IU Southeast Athletics. Owns marketing efforts for all IU Southeast athletic events, internally and externally. Ticketing logistics. Student-athlete academic and welfare concerns. Sponsor for SAC group. Welcomes Back Student Orientation event coordinator. Recruitment for Faculty Member of the Game. Manages communication and marketing interns and hourly employees.

General Responsibilities Maintains and reviews digital marketing strategies to promote Indiana University Southeast Athletics through digital channels and increase exposure to a target audience. Recommends targeting and segmentation approach for digital marketing strategies. Reviews and analyzes usage trends and effectiveness, recommend changes as necessary. Regularly consults with staff, faculty, colleagues, departments, and/or other stakeholders to curate content to specific programs, goals, audiences, and objectives. Ensures alignment with university mission, strategies, objectives, and brand guidelines across all digital marketing platforms and content. Designs user experience interfaces to ensure consistent and engaging platforms. May create integrated digital advertising schedules.

Combinations of related education and experience may be considered. Education beyond the minimum required may be substituted for work experience. Work experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted for education.

Education Required

Bachelor's degree in English, communications, journalism, public relations, or related field
