Job Function Senior Workplace Designers work on creating Human Centered designs for corporate, higher education, and healthcare environments. The person in this position will partner with Sales, Coordination, and Installation teams to create the best solutions for clients. The senior role has successfully executed design work on a variety of project types including small scale (under $20K), large ($250K or more), bid experience, fast‑paced timelines, reconfiguration, and phased installations.

Job Responsibilities

Meet with clients to discover their “why” and the business issues they need solved.

Develop design concepts that create an inspiring customer experience.

Participate from the beginning of the sales process, demonstrating why space matters and how thoughtful design creates inspiring spaces.

Collect design intent, programming information, and overall project end goals.

Create custom layouts and applications for each client.

Produce Furniture and Design Intent packages.

Select and specify furniture, architectural products, and finishes.

Occasionally select and specify interior finish packages (flooring, paint, lighting).

Prepare detailed furniture plan documentation for client approval and installation.

Manage design requests from small to large scale.

Learn in‑house programs.

Train new designers.

Participate in specialty training courses for products or applications.

Minimum Job Requirements

Interior Design Degree from a 4-5 year accredited program.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Willingness to travel outside the office, including occasional overnight travel.

Consistent personal character in accordance with company’s core values and beliefs; required to pass a drug and background check.

Preferred Job Requirements

CET Configura experience.

5+ years of design experience.
