Account Executive
Position Overview A premier luxury showroom is seeking a driven and ambitious Account Executive to support and grow its specialty door business. This role is ideal for someone with 1–3 years of experience who is eager to learn, build relationships, and grow rapidly within the luxury design and architectural sales space.
The Account Executive will focus exclusively on specialty doors (no major manufacturers), working closely with architects, interior designers, developers, and fabricators to specify and sell premium products.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage relationships with architects, interior designers, and industry partners
Represent a focused portfolio of specialty door brands, as well as approximately six additional premium lines
Drive specifications and sales for high-end residential and hospitality projects
Educate clients on product features, design applications, and technical considerations
Support projects from initial specification through order placement and delivery
Maintain accurate CRM records and follow up on leads and active projects
Collaborate closely with internal team members and brand partners
Attend showroom presentations, client meetings, and industry events
Travel to Paris 3–5 times per year for factory visits, brand meetings, and trade events
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in sales, account management, or A&D industry
Strong interest in luxury design, architecture, and high-end building materials
Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
Highly motivated, coachable, and eager to grow within a boutique showroom environment
Organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects
Willingness and enthusiasm for international travel
Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (or similar tools)
Salary: $65,000–$80,000 + 1% commission
