C&B Custom Modular, Inc. is seeking a Sales Estimator. The role reports to the Sales Manager and involves estimating dealer-provided quotes on commercial modular building projects.
Company Overview In 1997, C & B Custom Modular, Inc. was founded to manufacture high‑quality custom modular offices and classrooms. The company leverages over 90 years of combined experience and places a strong emphasis on quality through rigorous inspection and licensed oversight.
Job Overview The Sales Estimator will be responsible for estimating commercial modular building projects – conceptual, design‑build, and build‑to‑spec. The candidate must have a strong working knowledge of general commercial estimation processes and the ability to adapt to continuous change.
Duties and Responsibilities
Research all necessary special pricing, code compliance, and structural requirements for projects.
Provide support to dealer bidding projects.
Provide accurate estimates for all customers assigned.
Follow up on all outstanding bids and projects.
Prepare submittals for projects when necessary.
Price out all change orders and red‑line changes.
Create accurate sales release packages for Engineering.
Identify and maintain potential client relationships.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Dependable self‑starter with ability to adapt to constant changes.
Knowledge of commercial state and local building codes.
Knowledge of residential state and local building codes.
Strategic planning skills with strong attention to detail.
Critical thinking, analytical, and organizational skills.
On‑the‑job training experience a plus.
Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
