Master Halco is North America’s leading manufacturer and distributor of fence, decking, railing, outdoor structures, and perimeter security products. We are seeking a Sr. Inside Sales Associate for our local branch office.
Daily Expectations
Discovery conversations with existing customers and prospective customers to identify products and services that Master Halco can provide to grow their business.
Calling current customers by phone to generate orders for delivery, inform customers of specials and sales promotions.
Working as a team with other sales and operations staff to hit sales goals and earn bonuses and spiffs.
Excellence with phone sales, computer entry, and customer‑facing engagement.
Desired Experience
Building materials: metals, woods, plastics, hardware.
Do‑It‑Yourself retail.
Construction.
Mechanical/Electrical.
Accountabilities / Responsibilities
Partner with outside sales team to expand products and customer base.
Collect market intelligence from customers regarding competitive situations, competitor pricing, market situations, and inform Branch Manager.
Take inbound phone calls and emails from contractors and retail customers to process quotes and orders in a timely manner.
Consult with clients/customers after sales to provide ongoing support.
Prepare job order quotations based upon customer requests and information.
Communicate by phone or email with customers from time of order to time of shipment.
Candidate Specifications
High School graduate or equivalent work experience.
3+ years of customer service / sales experience.
Excellent phone and customer-facing experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Computer literate and proficient in MS applications (Excel required).
